Congratulations! Your vehicle or boat is now protected with a Ceramic Coating. Your new ceramic coating is designed to protect your factory’s clear coat from the elements and keep your vehicle looking new all of the time.

To maximize the life of the coating we will talk about a few steps to maintain your new coating.

You’ve picked up your vehicle, so now what? Allow your coating to cure for 7-14 days before washing with pressure. Avoid the following:
– Sprinklers
– Parking under trees
– Allowing bird droppings, bug splatter, sap or pollen to sit on your car and bake in the sun.
– Avoid pressure washing or abrading the paint

It has been 7 – 14 days and you want to wash your car. Here are the best methods we recommend:
Home Washing:
– Preferred: Foam Gun
– Standard: 2 bucket Wash/Rinse System with a microfiber mitt
– Dry with clean microfiber towel, we use Chemical Guys Wooly Mammoth

Spray and Wash:
– Use the high pressure soap, never use the provided brushes. We don’t recommend any brush on painted surfaces
– Use the Soft Rinse then dry with a microfiber towel
– Never apply wax or sealant

Drying:
– Preferred: Use a filtered leaf blower to remove a majority of the water then finish by gently using a microfiber drying towel.
– There are many great microfiber towels for drying, please see us for recommendations that we’ve used and have been proven to work.

Spot Removal:
– Never use harsh or aggressive products to remove surface contamination
– Never use excessive forceful wiping to remove spots
– Bird droppings, bugs, sap, etc. should be removed as soon as possible to avoid staining and degradation of your coating.
– Water spots can be removed with a 50/50 distilled vinegar and distilled water mixture.

We at Palmetto Paint Correction and Detail, LLC want to insure the investment in your vehicle or boat will last throughout the lifetime of the product chosen. With that we offer a Guarantee with all of our Ceramic Coating services. To honor the guarantee we would need to perform a maintenance wash twice a year to ensure proper care and maintenance of the product.

We guarantee that the above coatings will not stain or become discoloured.  But If they do, then we will repair the damaged area(s) and re-apply the coating without charge.

This guarantee will not cover:

• damage by collision, accident, scratches, abrasions, vandalism, stone chipping, burns, other paint/coatings or chemicals not designed for use on automotive paint
• rust damage
• application of the coating to matte or satin paint finishes
• application of the coating other than to the exterior paintwork of a car
• damage caused by the application of any other coating or product over the chosen coating
• car manufacturer defects or work carried out to the car prior to the coating application which affects the finish of the paintwork resulting in: 
  • paint imperfections including paintwork flaking or peeling
  • foreign matter in the paint
  • an orange peel effect (paintwork appears dappled or pitted)
  • clearcoat separation
